Rose is an experienced HR professional with a career spanning over 30 years working in the oil industry, investment banking, insurance, pensions and latterly animal health pharmaceuticals. She has been responsible for reorganisations, restructures, benefits and payroll management leading large and small teams and introducing new systems and ways of working. During this time Rose was fortunate to travel to the Far East, the US and Europe and she enjoyed seeing parts of the world she might not otherwise have been able to such as Japan and Finland. In 2017 Rose made a lifestyle change and trained as a volunteer with the Brigitte Trust, a charity that provides emotional support for people with life threatening illnesses, as well as taking on part time local roles, most recently as an Exam Invigilator at Oxted School.
Rose has lived in Oxted for 30 years and has two adult sons. With more free time on her hands Rose likes to take long walks in our lovely countryside all over the UK, occasional runs around the Titsey estate and local area, and
practices yoga and pilates. A highlight in 2020 was climbing Helvellyn, the third highest point both in England and the Lake District, recently voted the UK’s best walk. She is very pleased to support the Woodhouse Centre which is such a great resource in our local community.
