Co-op Local Community Fund

The Woodhouse Centre is one of 3 charities selected to receive funding from this year’s Co-op Local Community Fund. Westerham, Biggin Hill and Addington are the 3 branches of the Co-op Supermarket supporting the Centre.

The Woodhouse Centre helps Oxted residents by providing a centre for creative activities. Co-op members can choose the Woodhouse Centre as their local good

cause and every time they buy a Co-op branded product or service, and use their Co-op membership card, 1% of what they spend will be donated to the Centre.

The Woodhouse Centre’s Manager, Dee Graham, said “that the Co-op funding will help support a new ‘Men in Sheds’ project in Oxted which is set to become a popular club for retired men (and women) to socialise and learn or improve their woodworking skills. But we need your help. The more nominations we get, the more funding we will receive and the more we’ll be able help our local residents”

Sanjeeb Pandy, the Westerham Store Manager said:

“As a community retailer and a co-operative we give back to our communities. As a Co-op member, every time you buy our own brand food you’ll earn 5% for you, and 1% of what you spend goes to your chosen local cause. The more you spend, the more money goes to charities such as the Woodhouse Centre”.
